Based in an unusual but lovely old watermill with the river running through . Host were very friendly and keen to inform on local attractions . Rooms are very attractive and I would imagine very comfortable for a smallish family or group . Quality of breakfast was exceptional . All in all exceptional value and I wouldn't look anywhere else if back in the area .
The owners are an adorable couple and they make the stay in their place an unforgetable experience - you feel like you are at home. The breakfast was a feast - enormous amount of magnificent home-made fresh food. The rooms are nicelly decorated and so is the rest of the house. We definetelly will want to come back here for sure.все обзоры »
A fascinating building with much to see on site. The hosts were so welcoming that it felt like visiting friends rather than staying in a guest house.
Village of Kingsbury Episcopy is a fair walk away or short drive but good pub food available.
The location provides an excellent touring base for the many Somerset attractions.
I travel a lot on one night stays - there is no other establishment in my experience to beat the warmth of welcome nor comfort of the accommodation. The range of highest quality foods on offer for breakfast exceeds many 5 star hotels.
If you have the opportunity yet do not stay at The Wheelhouse you are mad!!!.
Picturesque rural location on the Somerset Levels. Very friendly hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Lovely interesting converted water mill with lots of character. Bedroom etc very clean and comfortable with everything one could want. Delicious breakfast with own eggs preserves and homemade bread.
Everything was wonderful right from the moment we got there. The owners were lovely, down to earth and extremely friendly. Very willing to offer suggestions re eating out, places to visit. Felt like one of the family. Delightful surroundings, the MOST excellent breakfasts and afternoon teas.
Tony and Lynda were great hosts, breakfast was fabulous. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. the farm and surrounding area are also lovely. They arranged a cot and a high chair for our baby as well, and made dinner reservations for us too.
We felt at home, the rustic feel was very homely and the breakfast was delicious. Tony was very funny and friendly and Linda's baking and homemaking skills were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone & will go back next time we are in Somerset.
The owners were so helpful, Scones to eat with cream, butter & Jam every late afternoon when arriving back at The Wheelhouse. The breakfast was everything you could ever want including fresh fruit and a full English cooked breakfast of your choice,.
This is a friendly relaxed B&B. The rooms were comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee & fresh milk. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide choice. We were also treated to fresh baked scones & cakes.
Nice location, very historic and interesting building with lots of character. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent service and superb breakfast.

Everything, absolutely brilliant.
Friendly welcome and situation.
nice people nice place.
Very welcoming.
Only minor concern was availabilty of places for evening meals . This either involved driving out somewhere or walking a reasonable distance along country roads with no pavements which if dark could be quite dangerous .
It isn't very easy to find and some signs to the property are needed. The owners know about it and are planning to install them. As the owners do not accept credit cards, please be prepare to have cash.
No bad points for us.
Not being able to stay for longer.
nothing I can think of.
Nothing.
Bed wasn't that comfortable, a bit of the soft side and very creaky. Smoke alarm low battery warning also woke me in the middle of the night, apart from that, no other complaints.
There isn't any think we didnot
like.
Hard to find. We were the only guests and had plenty of space and privacy but it might be difficult if sharing bathroom.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Twin beds were a bit primative.
all good.
