In an elegant Edwardian house in Hunstanton centre, The Gables is just 100 metres from Hunstanton Seafront. The family-run guest house offers traditional cooked breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. We have been to the Gables on four occasions and never been disappointed with the reception recieved or the service offered. Breakfast is excellent and service matches this. Rooms are comfortable, welcoming and have all the essential facilities available. The Gables is our first choice of acommodation when we go to stay in Hunstanton and we would recommend to anyone. Lovely location just set back from the sea front. Immaculate accomodation with pleasant decor and nice touches such as toiletries, water etc etc. Great home cooked breakfast and the owners couldn't do enough. Relaxed attitude to access to the rooms and very quiet despite the fact it was full.
все обзоры » The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities that you could want. The atmosphere was relaxed and the owners were friendly and very hard working. We had a really enjoyable break and would highly recommend the Gables - We look forward to visiting again in the future. Room 2 has a wonderful balcony seating two with a sea view. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Richard and Linda are very warm and friendly; such great hosts. Location is perfect: 5 mins walk to centre of Hunstanton, 15 min stroll to Old Hunstanton beach. Owners very helpful with our cycle groups particular requirements and knowledgeable accurate information about the town and surrounding area. Lots of toiletries to choose from in our rooms. Lively personal touches in the well presented rooms. Meet by a lovely friendly cat at the door he was gorgeous friendly richard checked us in room was great had everything we needed n bed was cosy warm and quiet very handy for walking into the village also would stay again. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival and the staff greeted us downstairs made is feel very welcome. Breakfast was nice too. We only stayed two days but nothing bad to say at all really. We would go again. host was straightforward honest,which is something i appreciate, also the hotel was clean and warm, breakfast was brilliant and overall the stay was good value for money. and i would stop there again. Brilliant! Run by a friendly, helpful family. Lovely room with a sea view. Enjoyed the substantial and tasty English breakfast. Looking forward to staying at The Gables again. Mike & Brenda. Richard pointed us in the right direction for a good pub meal when we had no idea where anything was.. (especially with arriving in the dark!!) Lovely breakfast :) Oliver the cat!. It was very quiet with very friendly people. We felt very much at home and relaxed. A lovely great big cat, Oliver. The sound of a parrot gave the place an exotic touch. :). We loved everything about The Gables. The breakfasts were especially amazing! Richard couldnt have been more friendly and helpful if he tried! We'll certainly be returning. Shower was a bit hot for our 4 year old. We mentioned to Linda and she is going to look to turn the water temperature down. Fine for adults or older children though. Very minor issue and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Breakfast was a little early when on a break but other than that it was prefect. Nothing at all. No loo brush & noisy bathroom extract fan, but aren't most!. WiFi would have been a 'nice to have'. Nothing to be honest. Did not realise they did not take credit/debit cards but ATMs only two hundred metres away so no problem. 20 stairs to 1st floor, a further 16 to 2nd floor. Not good with luggage and 2 slipped discs. The shower room was very small. Small shower cubicle. On-street parking only available with daily restrictions. nothing we could not find any fault. The sit in shower which we did not like at all - very restricting. Shower curtain instead of shower door. I expect local parking could be difficult in the summer. Could've been a bit luckier with the weather!. nothing. wish there was a couple of chairs in the room instead of a sofa. The shower was very compact!. An over friendly cat! But seriously is wasn't a problem. In hindsight, perhaps we shouldn't have booked such a small room for 3 nights as we had too much stuff and nowhere to put it all. we had a very small bedroom with very small shower cubicle and basin/lavatory cubicle. Room was a bit small, but was on the ground floor as we requested. Parking. Nothing. It is a bit outdated, also owners cat coming in bedroom window at 4am is not a nice way to be woken up. Although it was stated the room was small, did not expect to find the shower in a cupboard!.
