Neil and Sue, our hosts, were very welcoming. The room was furnished to
a high standard and the hotel was ideally located for both the town
centre and the seafront. We were in Eastbourne for the tennis at
Devonshire Park, easily within walking distance of the hotel.
From the moment you walked in it felt like a home from home.Neil and Sue
were very easy going and alway's polite and up for a chat. The
breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of it. We would stay
there again if we were in the area.все обзоры »
The moment we arrived were met with friendliness and helpfulness which continued throughout our short stay.
Although an older building once inside the decor and cleanliness were apparent everything of a very high class.
Sue and Neil were very friendly and accommodating. I felt most welcome. Breakfast was lovely and everything very clean. Cromwell House in a good location, close to transport and all things a traveller requires. Thank you.
The room was clean and warm. Having a lounge open to guests was nice and the breakfast was excellent. The owners were friendly and attentive. It's almost in the town centre.
Service was great from the staff where very welcoming on arrival. Hotel and rooms where very clean, staff where helpful and accommodating. Good value for money,.
Warm welcome from Neil. Access to the B&B at all times (with your own keys). Nice room with small bathroom but everything you need. Excellent breakfast.
We had to leave for work at half seven so the manager arranged for us to have our delicious breakfast extra early - brilliant - and much appreciated.
Welcoming charming hosts and their ongoing helpfulness
Close to South Downs National Park Walking Area
Nutritious and tasty breakfasts.
excellent location for trains, shops, restaurants and sea front.
good breakfast. friendly people. very clean and comfortable.
The warm welcome by the family and comfortable room. Plus, it's close to the beach, the pier and the town centre.
Proprietors very helpful in finding a garage for our car to be repaired. Good breakfast, quiet, central location.
Service & staff excellent,room clean & comfy,
very good breakfast, nothing to fault about our stay.
Excellent hotel, friendly, very helpful, excellent food could not fault it, superb value for money.
Neil, owner manager, doing a fantastic job. Extremely welcoming and guarantor for perfect stay.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the owners plus the attention to detail.
the attention and friendliness of the owners.
Owners very accommodating and friendly.
Welcome, room, breakfast etc.
Personal approach.
Cheap room,
Staff was polite.
The only bad point was the parking, which was on the roadside and spaces
were hard to find. .The Cromwell does however, have special guest
permits available which cost only£1 a day, instead of the £1 an hour on
the meter.
There was nothing negative about our stay.
Not really a dislike but pity no actual car park but this was made up with the reduced daily rate to park in the street and we were fortunate to find a place outside the hotel.
The single room was a tad small (not uncomfortably so), which meant that the en-suite bathroom didn't have a real door (no room to open it, I imagine) and instead had a plastic sliding door. Once I got used to it, it was fine, though.
The breakfast was lovely however the portion for the full English was very small. Also the beds where uncomfortable very hard was difficult to get to sleep.
If I booked a single room, and there were other double or twin rooms available - why not offer them to your guests?.
No lift but owner helpful with suitcases.
The stairs but I accept that this can't be changed.
Nothing.
Nothing.
N/a.
In front rooms could hear bank holiday bikers racing around till 2.am, perhaps not typical.
Nothing - good for the price.
Slept late on my last day and came down after both "check out" and "cleaning room" times had passed but was told that "they thought I had left already, so they had taken the money ". How about checking the room first before accusing someone of doing a runner!
There was also paint bits on the staircase.
