I particularly liked its vicinity to local public transport. Ideal for me. central location, breakfast, staff. Easy Access to City Centre. The facilities in the room were very good considering the price of the hotel.very friendly polite staff and nice breakfasts. friendly staff, clean room and bed, good food. The service, the linen, the price. good place.would stay there again. It was very near to where I was training, cheap with an ensuite, a twin room all to myself, £40 bargain. We only used it for a base for our nights sleep and it was more than adequate for our needs.Ideal location near Derby City Centre at a good price. quick and easy access. The waitress knew they use eggs from free-range chickens. Position. Easy access to the city centre, friendly staff. Comfy bed, being able to have a front door key to leave and come back when we wanted to and breakfast included in price.Price, location, quietness, breakfast and friendly staff.Good valuefor money. Friendly helpful staff.vist relation. Location. Well price and the breakfast was good. Ease of access, parking. Friendly Staff. Closeness to town centre. Staff were friendly. Car park was useful. Hotel convenient for city centre. The reception area is very nice but the rest of the hotel needs a makeover.set breakfast - not allowed to ask for any variations on the menu. TV reception played up a bit and Internet was not free (Although I belive this is more the sites fault then the hotel as they state it is free). Internet Price was £40 but on getting at hotel charged £50, that problem needs sorting out. Car park not accessable after 10.30pm. It is on a road with late night revellers giving a bit of noise late at night, so try and avoid a room at the front of the hotel. niose on the streets at night. The room was very hot but it was too noisy to keep the window open. All too often the cleaner seems to struggle to get the mop behind the bathroom door. No matter where I stay, the nooks and crannies are never cleaned, here was no exception.Unfortunately, being at the front of the hotel, it was noisey. window in room 301 wouldn't close ( damaged hinge). They did not have brown bread for toast. There was only a bar of soap in the room, no shower gel or shampoo. No soap in room .Tissues box had only a few. The hotel could do with a like of paint in the rooms, the showerfacilities where a bit grubby. The breakfast looked as if it was cookedthen warmed up in the microwave, not very nice at all, I reccomendpeople eat outside of the hotel, you have a better choice. Information provided said that we had a tele, and we did, but we may as well have not because the picture was really poor and the channels hadn't been tuned in.Rooms are too small and in need of updating. The decorating has has seenbetter days!. shareing bath with animals.Shower room dirty; room very basic but cheap!. The corridors were very smoky. Dtaed decor, thin walls and noise disturbance, no access to wifi in room, no digital tv. Room a little too basic. just not happy with room and need improvement space, hotel is lovley on outside but inside was so old fashion, need update, lick of new paint, etc... thanks. the decor was very dated, and tv was falling apart, the furniture was very old and dated, arpet smelled. No clean tables when went down for breakfast, and waited a very longtime for table to be cleaned, waitress took order but still left dirtyglasses and cups, in the end my husband moved the dirty glasses etc toanother table, waitress brought us clean cups, glasses and cutlery andput them down without cleaning table (toast crumbs etc on table). Bothbreakfasts were cold and we left them. Room not on suite, a bit grubby and very small. The full English breakfast was watery and tasteless. No variation on it for vegetarians. There was a massive leak through the bathroom ceiling ,water pouring out of the light fitting which we reported. Very noisy outside the hotel during a Thursday night/. Room was not very clean and needs redecorating. This hotel is appalling. From the outside it looks nice, but the rooms are grubby, dirty, outdated and smell very musty. The rooms have the appearance of the sort of room featured in the movie 'Train Spotting'!! The first room I was given had not been changed from the night before and there was a mattress strewn in the corridor! This hotel should be avoided at all costs - it is a dump.
