friendly staff, fabulous food nothing was too much trouble. i can truly say that the accomodation and the entertainment made for a first class stay. i will definitely return. they are advertising special weekends for 2009 and we are interested in the "rocky horror" weekend in january. i think they do a murder mystery weekend as well. its so nice to see something different. perfect place for a getaway, nice polite staff clean surroundings and the option available for a quiet relaxing night or a party time in the bar highly recommend this hotel for parties of all sorts, next time I visit I will be sure to book one of their premium rooms fabulous.......все обзоры »

The themed weekends are excellent. The staff are eager to please and the entertainment was brilliant. how close to all the shops and attractions it was, food was lovely and everyone was really friendly. i liked everything. staff were very helpfull and friendly. rooms were clean. You were treat as a person, they even knew your name. everything, it was all great and a good atmosphere. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The downstairs lounge was very well equipped and friendly atmosphere, good cabaret and room to dance. It's convenience to the Winter Gardens where I was seeing a concert. It's literally around the corner. the bed. friendliness and helpfulness of staff, and the evening meal. Also when we rang one morning to ask if we could have sandwiches at lunchtime, we were provided with a lovely selection, plus tea and coffee. Excellent dining room staff and meals.it was good for what we paid. 24 hour entrance facility. The staff were very friendly. Price. my room was a glorified cupboard and not very clean and Ii didn't really enjoy staying there. I travel extensively and stay at at many hotels but as I work for a charity have to keep to a tight budget but I have paid much less for much more. The floorboards in our bedroom floor squeaked incessantly everytime you walked on them. The room was small. The floormat at the shower was not replaced after the first morning.Luckily my room had a shower cubicle but no bath which I didn't mind as I was only staying one night. But my two friends only had baths in their rooms and no showers which I'm sure wouldn't be difficult to modify with a shower curtain inside the tub so you could stand. The lift may be a safety issue.Paoer bathmats...ugh!. Twin room was very small...don't take a cat....you can't swing it!!!. no shower in room - bath too small. Size of the rooms/my room didn't lock from the inside.Small rooms. the lift needs to be looked at the bar staff kept leaving the bar unstarffed and we had to wait for drinks, the housekeping could do a lot better. The hotel floor boards where very very creaky, and I could hear upstairs, next door and below floor boards also creaking, causing me to have an uncomfotable nights sleep. There was nothing I enjoyed about it!!! One morning the waitress was clearly hungover [or confused] asked me three times what I wanted and still brought me the wrong order.had to pay £11 for the hire of a travel cot which we had to try and assemble ourselves and would not assemble.tv did not work also. Rooms were outdated and in a poor state of repair. The staff were lessthan helpful, we were ignored at reception for 5 mins on arrival, hadpreviously rung and asked if we could leave our bags, I was told thiswas no problem but we were then told to leave them lying around aroundin reception, total unaccepatable, very poor service in such acompetative area for hotels.
