Neuadd Wen was a former sea captain’s residence and is located just 5 minutes’ walk from 2 Blue Flag beaches in the small seaside town of Aberporth. The hotel overlooks the picturesque Cardigan Bay.
The Ceredigion coastal path is only 5 minutes away by foot and features majestic golden beaches and towering cliff faces, full of secluded coves and rock pools. The award-winning Mwnt Beach, managed by the National Trust, is also within 6 miles by car.
Grey seals and dolphins can often be seen from the coastal paths close to Neuadd Wen. Guests can also see leaping salmon on the River Teifi at Cenarth Falls, just 20 minutes by car. Another possible activity, which is within an hour’s drive, is the feeding of Red Kites at Bwlch Nant yr Arian.
Rooms at the hotel all come equipped with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have an en suite bathroom, whilst others offer an external private bathroom. Guests can also spend time on the patio terrace which is adjacent to the breakfast room.

On arriving to Neuadd Wen for a wedding weekend we were met by Jen with a lovely warm welcome and asked into the B&B for coffee, tea and cake. We were then shown our rooms, they were extremely clean and fresh, with all you would need in them. The B&B was amazing value for money and we felt so welcome, it felt like a home from home.
Breakfast was all you could ever want with fresh furit, plenty of toast and a yummy fry up!

Spotlessly clean and good sized rooms and bathrooms, bedside tables with the most scrumptious homemade shortcake ever - all this on top of being welcomed with cups of tea and welsh cake! It's the little details that make Jenny's B&B stand out. Coming back home after our not-particularly-exhausting hike along the coastal path felt good.
The warmth of the welcome; the cleanliness; quality of the rooms; quality of the breakfast; the home-from-home feel about it, all of these were superb. Our hostess was friendly, warm and obviously cares about her guests. Couldn't have wished for more.
Steve and Jenny were very hospitable and from start to finish our one night stay was a real pleasure. The room was comfortable and we had a good night's rest in quiet surroundings. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day.

The warm welcome, the ambiance, the well-presented room and most certainly the fabulous breakfast (meat-free by request). Jen is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The service was first class in every respect.
