Karen, Simon and the Staff were outstandingly friendly and professional.
My wife is gluten free and we hadn't told them in advance because we
were not sure if we would be having breakfast. We decided to and they
actually went out and bought a loaf of gluten free bread so that she
could have toast with her breakfast! The food was excellent, the room
was fine, the place was spotlessly clean, they were great company and
the beer was superbly kept. Couldn't have asked for anything
more.Thank you al. все обзоры »
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very helpful and efficient staff. Lovely cosy bar. Comfortable rooms. They even arranged to bring in a hair dryer on the morning for my wife and daughter. Decent beer and a good, well priced wine list. The food was excellent and generous. Should we visit Abergavenny again, we will stay at the Farmers Arms without a doubt.
We had a fantastic few days, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the dining room one evening and all the food was home cooked and was delicious. Our room was very comfortable, clean and bright and warm, which was needed as the weather had just turned!.
The pub was very lively when I got there. They had a live band playing and there was a great atmosphere. The guy at the bar was very helpful and showed me everything I needed to know about the place. Lovely place to stay! Based on my experience and expectations i'd give it a 5* rating.
Check in was not until 3pm but they allowed us to check in early as we were going to a wedding. Staff friendly and rooms comfortable. Generous full English Breakfast. Other visitors have commented about the lack of hanging space/hooks which could be an inconvenience.
The staff were very friendly and helpul. We ate in the restaurant in the
evening and the food was very good.Breakfast was excellent value at £6
for a Full English or should I say Welsh.
Quiet and spacious room, flooded with daylight from windows on two sides; well situated near centre of town and the markets. Freshly cooked breakfast. Very reasonable price.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms very clean and all the food in the pub was great. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend The Farmers Arms.

Staff were excellent and extremely helpful, only stayed one night for a wedding but would definitely stay again.
Value for money. Close location to the town centre. Allowed motor bikes to be parked in back yard. Friendly.
Friendly helpful owners who keep a very nice hotel and bar with food the children enjoyed.

Friendly staff and good breakfast.
excellent,nice pub,large room.
Great staff and location.
The place had a cosy and relaxing bar area which served a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Couldn't fault it.
Nothing!.
Our bedroom was above the bar which didn't bother us as we spent the
evening drinking in the bar but it may put some visitors off.
Wifi only worked intermittently in the room owing to thick floors. But it was fine in the bar/dining area.
beds were a bit hard.
Shower room very small, however this wasn't a problem at all. Overall the stay was lovely.
The lock on our door was impossible to use. Needed the landlady to put us to bed at the end of the evening.
Nothing to dislike about this stay.
nothing.
Nothing, a superb hotel. Highly recommend.
no wardrobe / hanging space, Wi-Fi not working, breakfast limited.
Not able to get in shower with bathroom door closed. Owner not professional how he spoke to staff in front of guests.
Cooling plant on adjoining roof a little noisy until it goes off.
shower/toilet was a little cramped.
We stayed in room 5 which was clean but small with no wardrobe or even hooks to hang clothing on. So ALL our cloths, stuff etc had to stay on the floor. Even the bathroom had no shelf for shampoo, toothbrushes etc so again our stuff had to stay on the floor. The radiator in our room didn't work despite asking twice, the pipes were warm, the radiator cold so I suggest it needs bleeding. The room had no chairs and it was so basic and expensive for £60 with breakfast being at extra cost.
