  Хостел находится в двух шагах от самой высокой точки города, башни Галаты. Сам он изнутри похож на башню - этажи соединяет деревянная винтовая лестница, на самом верху - открытая терраса с потрясающим видом на город. Здесь можно провести всю ночь за чашкой горячего чая и разговорами, а можно подняться сюда с утра и греться в лучах набирающего силу... что говорят » солнца. Персонал отеля - вне конкуренции. - I ilked the personal touch. When I first wrote them they got envolved in the reason of my trip, and I immediatly felt they were friends. When I arrived late at night they were wonderful and welcomed me with a cup of hot tea. The breakfast is awesome, and they served it a little earlier because I had a tight schedule in Istanbul. When I got back from my shopping I was again received with a hot fresh mint tea. The internet is great, the location perfect and they arranged for my airport pick up an - We normally don't stay in dorms, but our experience was great. The staff were accomodating and friendly. Dorms were clean and spacious with big windows, comfortable beds, and lockers. The building is old, but charming and appeared to be well-maintained. Location is convenient and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of Galata. Water cooler and brewed coffee at breakfast was a welcome bonus. A strong reccommend.

  Excellent facilities at a very good price. Cannnot fault the hotel. Staff were really helping and polite. Room was of a decent size, with all the necesary facilities. The bed was a tad ont he hard side, but I like it that way, so no problem!   I liked almost everything about this hostel. The best I have ever stayed in. We were very well received, they are excellent hosts. The room was clean and was very pleasent. The common area is super friendly and you have the chance to get to know people from all over the world. The kitchen is always very clean which for me is very important. The bathrooms are Ok(+) for c - Staff was very helpful and caring. Hotel is located between Taksim, Eminonu and Besiktas also close to the ferries to Asian continent. If you dont want to spend money, you can cook your own meal in kitchen and have tea, coffee. Beds are comfortable, sheets are clean. Whole building is warm even its snow and northeastern wind outside. I recommend that cosy hostel especially for travellers alone.

  Located in a perfect area, great terrasse, galatalife is a really good base to visit istanbul, istiklal and taksim at walking distance, and galata tower and area straitght down the street. the staff is escellent, helpful, and friendly. you can also take vapor in karakoy walking all down the street and visit kadikoy and all asian side, or walk to ... что говорят » eminonu and all touristic area crossing the bridge, about 15-20mn walk. shortly, galata life is a really friendly, cheap hotel, in one of the best are - I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, and i like its proximity to the Istiklal district. The staff of the hotel are really nice to their guests. And i have to mention Fatih for being nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was quite small but comfortable. Heater was good. I would love to stay again in the same hotel when i come back to Istanbul.

  Excellent staff ( Yildirim and Ofuk). The staff was supper nice. The owner, Aziz, was helpful and tried to help ASAP. Very close to Galata Tower and Galata bridge and to the Bosphoros.   Great location. Apartments are a few steps away from Galata tower and 5 min walk to Istiklal street. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to Galata tower. A cab ride to sultanahmet took us 10 mins and 20- 25 lira ( taxi meter better than prenegotiated rate). Manager was very nice and accommodative. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. - The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.
