  The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for a business trip and found the staff very helpful and accomodating - loaned me an umbrella, etc. Continental breakfast was also very nice, with fresh croissants and a good selection. Located directly across from the train station, so it wasn't too close to the "red light" district nearby.   The hotel is super clean, nicely situated, and quite comfortable. We were a couple traveling with another friend, and we had two quiet rooms on the second floor.   I would say the best memory of the hotel is the manager- Floriant. He is a very nice and helpful person, ready to assist in questions that arise during the stay in Lausanne/Renens. The rooms look nice and are always clean. TV and Internet work perfect!   The hotel's owners, Dominique and Josiene, were very, very friendly and helpful - it was almost like home away from home. Even though the Au Bel Air Hotel was old, it had such a lovely warm, cosy ambiance about it, and having been able to open the windows was great.   Really nice hotel in very quite corner of Switzerland. Room was verynice (upgraded without charge) and service very good. - Nothing. This is possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. It is overpriced. The rooms are not in the old building as advertised.
