  The hotel was right on the lakefront/harbor with a great view from the lakeview room. The underground parking was great for a car trip stop and access to the hotel/lobby was easy and well laid out. The dining area was modern and well organized and the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Again was 100% with the room, especially with bed and pillows. Love design of the room. My mother stayed of the standard room and it was also very nice. Location of the hotel, imho, is better than in the city center - you are close to the lake and can enjoy it. Getting to every part of the city is sipmle - 2 min walk to Metro station. And a small supermarket nearby.

Room was very confortable according with its fare. - friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room(s). No problem staying beyond the normal bar closing time to continue our discussion.

  They were full so upgraded us to Beau Rivage, and put us up in a suite.Had a magnificent stay. We were also able to take a tour of the Angleterre which had lovely rooms as well. - Very clean and spacious room, great location right nex to the lake.

  We just came in from 12 days in Italy and this hotel room was larger than the others we stayed in. The bed was softer. That was nice. European beds are pretty hard. They offered free Wifi in the rooms. Breakfast was included. The staff spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. They gave us free bus and metro passes.   I would highly reccommend this hostel. I stayed for 5 nights from 30th August 2013. This place is great if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff (speaking many languages) and a great breakfast. It is located slightly further away from the centre of Lausanne but the number 25 bus stop is only a two minute walk away a... что говорят » nd you can be in the city centre within 15 minutes. The complimentary Lausanne Travel Card (valid for 2013 bus and metro travel) was an added bonus wh - Dinners were good and for a good price. Breakfast came with the room. It was a little distant from downtown but we got a bus pass which made it cheap to travel via the public system. The distance to downtown was walkable and enjoyable because it was by the water and in the park with lots of activity, swimming, etc. We took a boat across the lake to Evian France and a train to Geneva from downtown. Be sure to see the Kathedrale Notre-Dame which is right off the metro line.
