-Thanks to the kitchen, we often cooked in the apartment, saving on the cost of the restaurants (really expensives for Italians)
-The owner is willing to give advice to visit the city

moderately priced hotel.. The Basel delivered over and above. If we ever

Good location; stayed for 2 nights to visit Christmas Market. Staff were
friendly and helpful. Close to key markets, museums, and room came with
public transport pass. We had two good meals at the restaurant and found
the breakfast typical of a good European hotel. I don't know where
the others ate. Excellent coffee served with warm milk.

Quirky decor and design very interesting.The staff were excellent - helpful and friendly. Free Tram pass provided was brilliant and so easy to use and get around.Coffee machine, nuts and water were nice gestures.Breakfast good and served until 1pm- so ideal for travellers or just leisurely start to the day. -

The hotel's facilities are all there in abundance despite there being a 'miniature' aspect to the hotel.
The breakfast and the bar facilities are friendly with a good atmosphere. ( I didn't experience lunch or dinner)

We were a family of 4 that stayed in the studio apartment.
1. Very easy to find, a 6 minute walk from Basel SBB train station.
2. Big room, big bathroom, loads of space, well equipped kitchen, nice balcony with a small table.
3. A nice big Co-op supermarket nearby.
4. Great value breakfast at CHF 5 (£3.5) per person

Space!!!! Loved the large room. Windows and balcony let in lots of light. Good sized bathroom. Easy to find. Lovely staff. Nice dining and kitchen area in hostel side-although we didnt use this it looked new and clean. Good fridge in our room.

We liked very much the layout of the B&B. The kitchen had everything you could need and the children were delighted to find satellite TV in their bedroom. Rooms were clean and tidy. The owners (Rolf and Nicole) were very friendly and attentive. Location was great, being close to the city but quiet enough to sleep at night. -

The hotel was extremely clean, quiet, simply but beautifully furnished with modern facilities. The location was like a paradise. My room had a balcony, only metres from a beautiful mountain river with lovely well-groomed trails to use close by. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
