not so close to the center (10-15 mins), but the hotel is located in the front of the only beach of the city, which is very nice if you have a front sea room (to pay apart), which is very rare in lanzarote. Having stayed before,i was familiar with the barcarola,but was surprised there was no air conditioning and pool was very cold.i asked at reception about the pool but told it was due to the wind that it was cold.the first week it was too cold to use pool. perhaps when weather is breezy and cool it may be the time to heat it to a comfortable level.

The location was excellent, we could not have had better. The grounds of the complex and pool area was very well kept and a nice environment to be in. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean with an excellent view of the sea. Overall the perfect place to stay.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very comfortable and very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. Sheets/towels were changed every other day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Every member that you passed on a daily basis always had a smile and said hello. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. A nice bottle of red wine was waiting for me in my room as a welcome gift and every morning, a fresh bread roll would be left in a plastic bag hanging on my door. It is the little touches that make a difference. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, cutlery and plates and glasses.

Quiet location, lovely pools, short walk from the beach. Bus stop close if you are independent travellers like we were. Bedding and towels changed regularly. We booked second floor apartment but not one available and we were offered choice of ground floor one or top floor in mansion (No 2312) We had read that these were dark, admittedly they are older but they were comfortable with all you need. When I booked the Guinate apartments I was worried as there was a lot of negative feedback.

Visited alone without the family and was exactly what I needed. Was not out for luxury or night clubs but to be able to relax after a busy period. Was a peaceful place to stay. The possibility to have your own keys to the main gate to the area was great. Standard was basic with not too tiny rooms. Very friendly personal. Can really really go there back also with the family

We loved every thing about the Fariones Playa. It was just perfect for us. Right on the beach staff very helpful and friendly, very clean and situated close to shops restaurants etc. However after these good reviews we hope it does'nt put the price up .. as we would love to go back again .. finances permitting. -
