We had a thoroughly pleasant stay at this hotel for 5 nights in February 09. We stayed with our 2 children in a 'B2' Apartment - we found the rooms (sitting room with sofa bed and kitchenette / separate bedroom / large bathroom) to be extremely comfortable and practical with nice decor. This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.

The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.It is next to The Passeig De Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas.Extremely friendly staff that helped us orginize our trip.Our room (Nr 8) was spacious,clean,comfortable and very quiet.There are many options around the hostal for eating,shopping and many more.There was hot water and very strong wifi signal all the time.It was generally very well organized with door codes and everything needed provided before we had even arrived!

Great location, the hotel was in the center, 15-20 min walk to Rambala in a good eria. Room facilities are great (clean and big room). We didn't take the breakfast and there was a nice place just out side the hotel were we could have a nice cap of coffe or a dinner. - Beautiful hotel at a good area, fantastic location near main tourist attractions

The attention to detail of all the staff was exceptional. Great breakfast, comfy beds, lovely showers, all you need. There was a friendly atmosphere too, not too formal, while keeping up the 5 star 'feel'. The apartment was modern, spacious and clean. It was very well equipped with all kitchen electronics and dishes we needed. The washing machine-dryer was very useful. The apartment location was excellent. We walked to most places, but it is also easy to get taxis and metro station is very close. There are a lot of small shops around for groceries -

I liked the fact that Angla almost operates on anti-hype. Everything
about the apartment was better than the very correct, agreeably modest
descriptions on the net. Whoever designed the flat we stayed in had
terrific taste and picked the very best of everything, from the towels
to the porcelain china plates. The interior was sober, modern and
elegant. And we liked the staff tremendously. Nicholas, on reception,
was helpful and humorous and helped make our stay so great. The
