  We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun.   Everything was perfect. We had a hearty welcome by the host, who was friendly, gentle and accommodating. We liked to stay the room which made us feel cozy and relaxed with a log fire and amazing Montserrat view. I liked to be surrounded by the beautiful scent of handmade soaps at the entrance.   Silvia and Gerrard, the owners, were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The enormous house and gardens with pool were very spacious and because they only let out 5 rooms or so, felt almost like having your own country house.   We previously stayed at Casa Matilda for one night and liked Leo and Elena's hospitaliy so much that we returned for a three day stay this October (2013) with two of our friends. The house is gorgeous. Our room was more like a suite with a huge bathroom, living room with minifridge and large bedroom.
