The hotel is excellently situated for the beach. You can walk into either Marbella or Puerto Banus quite easily on the flat. I took the hotel room to be able to fulfil a deadline for a grant application. This needed much writing and internet connection. The hotel was perfect for this, the room was quiet and comfortable. If you do your research and know that it is a non-functioning 5 star hotel, then you will know what to expect and not be disappointed. The apartments are fairly decent, large enough and cleaned daily. Contrary to other reviews, the pool is clean and most days there were only a few people around the pool. -

I have stayed in Park Plaza numerous times with friends. It's ideally located by the beach on one side and Puerto Banus strip on the other. This makes the place an ideal location for those planning to go to Puerto Banus to have a party weekend / week. Ideal for stag dues or hen nights :-)
