  Definitely the location + the kindness of the lady who was taking care of the space. She is so friendly and so helpful. You kind of feel yourself sharing home with 'old friends' and not really in a hostel. I only stayed over for a night but it was enough to feel the spirit of the place. Here you have everything you need: kitchen, laundry, cells for you things, Internet, useful information about city sights and free excursions, different events. Barcelona is pretty expensive city so that place is the best variant if you want open the Barcelona for yourself and spend little money.   This is a brand new hostel, you can literally smell the paint from the walls very nice and large common area it is located perfectly, very close to some famous Gaudi houses and Catalunya square. A railwaystatioj connecting to the airport is a 5 minute walk, the tube station is even less WiFi works fine (watched a live stream w/o any interruptions)... что говорят » - I am pleased to tell that our family were very happy for the stay. The hotel stuff was reasonable friendly, but it was enough, all our questions were answered. The place is just great, you could easily reach Sagrada Familia or la Rambla by foot.   Location was amazing. Starbucks across the street, shops, restaurants and Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas within walking distance. Equally close to the metro and sightseeing tour buses. Coming into the airport, I was able to get on the inexpensive Aerobus and get dropped off at Pl. Catalunya which made it even better when carrying my luggage. The wifi worke - This was my first time in a hostel & it was a good experience. Location was the best. Placa Catalunya is a good starting point to see the whole of Barcelona, links to the whole city from there. Next to La Rambla, supermarkets & several high st shops. Rooms were spacious, loved the plug socket, nightlight & privacy curtain. To save money I bought food from local supermarket & used the hostels kitchen facilities. Very useful under bed lockers, my belongings were always safe there.

  We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun.   It was our first time in Bcn. Staying at Backpackers House Bcn make us feel like home. Its location very in the city center; very convenience to walk around in the city, to take a bus, to take a metro/train. The bus and metro stations are just around the corner. They really make us feel like at home staying at Backpacker House Bcn. - Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.
