  The location was fantastic, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the hostal was very clean, beds and towels changed everyday. Security box in the room included at no extra cost and the security that you set your own combinatioon. Just a very suprising well run Hostal and value for money. Great stuff, especially a middle aged man on the reception, he gave us a city map, a metro map, explained how to get to the most popular turistic places and recommended some good restaurants. Breakfasts were very good, included a variety of products. Hotel description is 100% correct.

  Very friendly and responsive staff, great location just off the Ramblas, cash machine outside the door, balcony as promised - a very small one, but this is typical Barcelona style, it was good enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy some cava + jamon serrano in the wee hours... Also they let us into the room two hours early (at noon) when we arrived, and let us keep our suitcases (locked with chains) during a few hour - Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down. Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi. Would stay here again.

Breakfast reasonably good. Overall, I think that we got our money worth.

  Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10 M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action.   Realy liked our stay at hostel flores! Especially the location is exelent! Superfriendly staff, very helpfull! The hostel is located on the ramblas just next to the famous market la boquerilla! You can stop by the market for a juice or fresh fruit! The hostel itselve is a very clean, neet hosel. The hotel is extremely clean and located at the best place in Barcelona. At the middle of Las Ramblas, Just 30 meters away from La Boqueria market, And 50 meters from Liceu metro station. It could be noisy in the evenings and it has, hands-down, the world's tiniest elevator. Great water pressure in the shower, free wi-fi both big pluses. Our room was really modern and exceptionally clean with a balcony overlooking las ramblas. Excellent value for money, especially as we got one large room for four of us.
