  The service was great and I was pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with terrace even though I had booked a fairly economic room just because they like upgrading their guests when the better rooms are free. Good location (on foot 7min from the Via Grande, 10 min from El Prado and 3 min from the Bus Station 'Bus Express' to the airport. Would definitly go back. Nespresso Machine in the breakfast room. Fingerprint reader to enter the appartment: no badge you could loose or misplace. Free WiFi!

  Great location in Madrid. Very central so we walked everywhere from Puerto Del Sol.. Lots of shops nearby, restaurants, bars etc. and metro station is a stones throw away. Apartment was very clean , bedrooms were nice and sofabed was fine. Called us a taxi and sorted that out which would have been hard on the day we left due to protests in Puert - Perfect location! So close to a Metro, Sol, a few stops to Atoche Renfe if you need to get a train. In the heart of the city so you can walk to almost everything from here. Armando is not warm and fuzzy and really does not speak any English, however, he did let us store our luggage for free since we arrived early in the day. He met us later in the day to check in and we could communicate with gestures and a few words. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Could use more blankets. Does not hav

  We loved the cleanliness of the Hostal. We also enjoyed the excellent location and walking distance to historical sites and museums. Our host, Luisa was excellent, helpful and very friendly. She was there to greet us and allowed us to come back for an extra day after our train to Paris was cancelled. It was also very near the underground. Shower had great pressure and the rooms were very clean. In addition to this the view from the balcony was also great.
