The location is superb, just off La Ramblas. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. We were at the front of the hotel, so we had a small balcony overlooking the street. There is a lift, essential for people like me who have difficulty with stairs.

Hotel Condal is located in the heart of the La Rambla. It is so convenient to walk 30m and then to enter the La Rambla. The many restaurants, shops and attractions in close proximity of the hotel is a bonus. The reception of the hotel is very helpful, knowledgeable,efficient and available 24hr. Receptionist were so nice and helpful. Also it was safe at the hotel, since La Rambla is not so safe at night the hotel locked their doors. Also loved the central location. Close to Las Rambla, easy to get to public transportation, buffet breakfast was a good value for the 9 euro price. Great apartment in a very convenient location. We stayed in the penthouse/terrace and found it to be very modern and nicely fitted out, the furniture was also very comfortable and it was very clean. Our son stayed on the sofa bed - it was huge and of very good quality. It felt as though it was a proper bed.

The location of the apartment is great. The metro station of sant pay/ dos de maige is just across the street. The apartment is also near the gaudi avenue which is technically close to the sagrada familia. The building is also near various restaurants, and groceries that give guests a lot of choices for their meals.
The receptionist who greeted us was so kind. She explained to us the apartment thoroughly and introduced the vicinity to us, pointing out the various tourist location in the area.

Staff friendly and helpful. - it's a small hotel, we are not very fond of the big hotels with more than 200 rooms and this was a nice size. Also, it's easy to reach from the aerobus.
