  We had a wonderful stay at the Cien Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Barcelona. The location was great... Just two blocks away from the boutiques and nightlife of Passeig de Gracia - wow! From the Airbus stop in Plaza Catalunya we had to walk only 5-7 min. Very convenient indeed.   Very friendly owner took the time to give me useful information about the city. Very basic accommodation but spotlessly clean, comfortable and close to the metro and plenty of restaurants.   I loved the presentation of the flats upon entering, the way the beds were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. Lovely touches were the free bottle of wine and water, it's the little things.... Reception was always friendly and efficient and helpful. The space within the apartment 2. Being located in residential Barcelona was good so could sample how the locals lived 3. Having 2 showers was really useful 4. Having a balcony was good so we could dry our towels! 5. The utilities were good - kettle, fridge, etc - even towels and basic toiletries were included which was unexpected. 6. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a bonus!
