  We stayed in Salamanca Monday-Wednesday in late October. The hotel is well situated about 5-10 minutes walk from the rail station and a few minutes walk from the old town centre. A little noisy as it is on a main road. Hotel is all chandeliers, marble and glitter, not trendy, but very comfortable. The decor was beautiful and so different from the usual bland style of many hotels I've stayed in.
