The Hostess is absolutely amazing. I have never experienced such overwhelming hospitality and friendship from a stanger. I stayed in Arista Guesthouse for a minor medical procedure. Svetlana took me to hospital and came to fetch me again. She wouldn't hear of it that I can use a taxi to and from hospital. I defenitely made a lifelong friend. -

Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.

Belinda and Dawid Lombard went out of their way to make our 4 day/night stay utterly enjoyable. The staff made us feel so special and no request was too much effort. Everybody was friendly and very helpful. When I exit the door with bags in my hands, the guy at reception, literally ran to open the door for me. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also a delight. -

This a great spot to stay at in Bloemfontein as stop-over. The rooms are adequate size for an overnight stay, with an interesting design. It was comfortable and quiet. Save parking outside. And all this for a great price.
