  Hedge House was great beyond our expectations. Jan and her family and staff (who are more like family) are all just wonderful- very helpful, friendly, welcoming. The breakfasts were full, cooked to order, and absolutely lovely and delicious- and different every day. The pool looked lovely but unfortunately it was too - My stay at Hedge House was brilliant. I was there for almost a week for a conference and to visit Cape Town. Judy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process. She arrange my pick up from the airport and set me up since my arrival in the morning of the first day. The room was brilliant, on a corner with great views, lots of space and a huge bathroom with shower and bath. The stay the entire week was fabulous. Judy was really helpful all the time.   A very nice lodge. Staff is warm and welcoming. If you like to activate yourself, they have all the offers/contacts available from the house. Breakfast is good and the atmosphere gives you a feeling of being home. Recommended! - Great hospitality, nice room, clean bathroom, very quiet position.

The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious.
