itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

We were overnighting prior to a long flight the next day to Dubai/Kabul. This could not have been a nicer stay. Car parked, check in seamless, room very nice. Our view was an ocean view which was great. The convenience to the waterfront activities and shopping was excellent. Late night coffee and cake in front of the fireplace was superb. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best we have had, just fabulous. Staff were all on their game, excellent service.

This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. location and pool and gardens - Smily and friendly staff. Great breakfast, fab views and nice big pool. Secure grounds with electric gate w/ night security was a benefit as I was travelling solo. A lovely stay and a short walk to gorgeous beaches of Camps Bay

The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this
