A hotel within a country club
The well maintained Residence is located on the third floor of a country club in town, and comprises of 26 rooms and 2 suites, facing either the Padang (cricket lawn) or the city. The swimming pool which is located at the corner of the basement, which feels like a pond within a cave.
Cleanliness did not disappoint.

traffic noise as our room overlooked the front road...mainly seemed like
background type noise and didn't disturb our sleep. Somewhat odd

When arrived we were upgraded to executive business, free breakfast, flowers, cake in the room, free internet etc. for free, when staf learned that it is our honeymoon. This is a great hotel in a central location right above City Hall MRT Station, with easy walking to the Harbor areas and the Singapore Flyer etc. We travelled from the airport via the MRT for S$2.40 (£1.20 approx.) Concierge were most obliging from local advice and knowledge, luggage security once checked out etc. The room was very comfortable with a work desk area which was most helpful. Would look to stay here again when traveling to Singapore.

this hotel is cozy and far away from hustle bustle of city center, but what we like this also close to millenia walk that can connect us to Marina square shopping mall. room was spacious and amenities also complete. the staff also helpful and receptionist also kind to give room as we asked close to lift since my mother can not afford very too far. excellent !

The location of the hotel was in walking distance of many attractions.
Room was fresh and clean, bed comfortable, airconditioner quiet, shower hot and direct, lovely view and no street noise.
Pool has the wow factor.
Breakfast spoilt for choice, relaxed and plentiful.
On our return we have talked to our family and friends about the young luggage assistant who went well beyond good service to assist us with our transfer to the boat. He made the stay for great to memorable.

Every thing was perfect. From the minute we arrived we were meet by happy smiling people. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The young ladies at Reception were so helpful they were a pleasure to meet and talk with. Well done young ladies. Our room had everything we needed and housekeeping done a great job at keeping it clean and tidy. And a big thank you to the porters the first people we saw when we arrived and the last when we sadly left.

Our flight was late at night and we could store our luggage and they even offered us to take a shower before we left for the airport! This is a great service that I have not yet experienced.
