I'm glad that I choose to stay at Raffles Makkah Palace and I honestly can't say that there was anything I was not happy with. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations. The suite's panoramic view of the Kabba is far beyond description. The suite was larger than we expected, it was well furnished and the beds were comfortable.

It is very close to the Haram and it takes only about five minutes to reach it.
The room was awesome, specially the bathroom which had the toilet and bidet area separated from the rest by an opaque glass door. Everything was very, very clean and the room was very quiet, it felt as if we were alone in the whole floor, which we were not.

1. I liked the proximity of the hotel to the Grand Mosque.
2. The Atyaf resturant had excellent food for all the meals.
3. I liked the way we were traeted by the reception staff. They projected a prfessional image and conducted themselves professionally.
4. We liked the fact that the hotel is part of King Abdulaziz "waqf" for the Two Holy Mosques. This will encourage us to go back again to the same hotel.

This time, I stay there for Umrah along with my brother's family who came to visit us at Saudi from Dubai. Reception staff were very polite and friendly. location and also the lack of availabity anywhere else. Same goes for
all the hotels in this area.
Other than that, the hotel is awesome.
Very nice and clean.
Staff are excellent and always willing to help.
One has to remember that in this location the staff are run to the ground as its too busy, so you have to exercise patience.
I would definitely stay here and recommend it. In fact I can't wait to return InshaAllah

I like the whole luxurious hotel, clean rooms and excellent buffet in Ramadan, my felicitations to all the staff members beginning from the receptionists, chefs, room services, ... all the staff. It was very close to Haram, even in Ramadan you can pray inside the mall with continuous raw from the Kaaba. If you have elderly people, this will be an advantage. Multiple restaurants in the same mall with different prices convenient for all people.

2- Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
3- Breakfast is very good.
4- Hotel staff is very helpful.
5- Premium room that I stayed in had a kitchenette.
6- Elevators are very good and efficiently programmed. Good size.
7- The clock tower complex had all the facilities - masjid for gents (Level P09) and ladies (Level P10), Food court (Levels P03 & P04), Shopping (Levels P0, P01 & P02).

Not sure why the "most helpful review" mentions shuttle
service as there is none - or if there was, I was not informed. However,
given it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Haram, it was never

The location is perfect for a spiritual trip, the perfect walk-able distance between the hotel and the holly Kaaba is just conveniently nothing to complain. Very accommodating - we started off expecting to travel with my Son (8) and daughter (4), so booked a twin room with an extra bed. The cleanliness, the comfort, and the general service were very good.
