It's absolutely budget-firendly, good located (far from the center but easy and fast to get it) hotel with a good staff and surely the best between 4 (Alfa, Beta, Gamma and Delta). You'll find hot water and ironing on each floor, there are many food stores and cafees outside the hotel

Friendly, helpful staff by Russian standards. Warm, clean, comfortable rooms and a good if unchanging breakfast.

Borodino Hotel is constantly improving their service. Free Wi-Fi in every room works just fine. In case you do not have smart phone there is PC near reception and you can print your boarding pass - all for free as well. Excellent spa facilities. Fresh, new and well equipped hotel at wise price - that's not so common appearance in Moscow...
Location - it's just a few steps from pedestrian street Arbat.
Metro station is just around the corner, but at the same time it doesn't bring You any unconfortability, any noise.
Breakfast was good (sparkling wine is included) - my proposal would be to book the room including breakfast . It's not so cheap if You buy it separately (~ 1100 Rubles).

staff - mainly Reception - speak fluent english. The hotel was clean,
rooms and common space. Also worth noting that a big added value results
from the hotel being close to the Euro-mall shopping center and the
