  We stayed in this hotel for a football match (Cluj v Chelsea), the staff were excellent, when we arrived at Cluj airport the taxi's wanted 100 Lei (fare should have been 20 Lei), we contacted the hotel and they sent the barman out to collect us. - The staff is excelent and all the services are also very good.

  Excellent location at the centre of Kolozsvár. (approx 100 m from the main square). Parking facility of the hotel was a real asset in the centre. The rooms are nice and clean. Free WiFi. Staff speaks English and Hungarian.There is a restaurant in the courtyard, but closes at 10 PM, so not noisy at night. A szobák tiszták, tágasak, van WiFi - Very central. And at the same time very quiet place as the hotel building has an U shape and all rooms face the inner patio. An excellent restaurant, with very good prices. The restaurant was never busy and the serving was virtually instant. Rooms are very tall (~4m).

The staff was polite and helpful although they speak Romanian with a local accent. The restaurant is also good, serving both Romanian and international dishes and the breakfast buffet was quite wide-ranged. The bathroom was... что говорят » very clean with a shower head that resembled a SciFi teleportation device and highly complicated faucets (good thing I'm an engineer). - I've been staying at many hotels in Cluj, but since now, this is the best option I've ever had; I'll definitely come back if I'll have to travel to Cluj again; Staff is very professional, and willing to help you, rooms are quiet, cosy with comfortable bed and anything you want inside, plenty of variety on breakfast - over all I'm proud that we have such 4* hotels at a decent price, in one of our major cities in Romania. Congrats for the 10+ mark.

  As a business woman, I am travelling a lot across many countries, but in this hotel I really felt like being in Paradise! I was amazed by the variety and richness of the breakfast. The SPA Center was also available 24h, and the receptionists were all very polite, professional and friendly. I had a wonderful stay! - I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Paradis, the Hotel was very clean comfortable and the Spa was so relaxing. The staff at this Hotel were second to none, nothing was a chore. The Reception staff were with out doubt the most professional I've ever meet and really went that extra mile for us, so a big thank you to Laura and Miett. I would really recomend this City and Hotel it is well worth a look...

  I stay here each time when visiting Cluj since 3 years.There are many nice-looking,better located hotels of same price range but I've never tempted2change.I feel secure,calm,pampered here.At each visit signs of continuous maintenance and continuous implementation of new things/improvements in interiorandservices. Unlike some hotels we were able toleave the air-con on all day (handy in the hot summer). Long-ish walk totown (30-45 mins), which I didn't mind and in any case taxis in Cluj arecheap.
