  We stayed in this hotel for a football match (Cluj v Chelsea), the staff were excellent, when we arrived at Cluj airport the taxi's wanted 100 Lei (fare should have been 20 Lei), we contacted the hotel and they sent the barman out to collect us. - The staff is excelent and all the services are also very good.

We were very pleased with the Hotel Beyfin. It is a modern hotel with all of the amenities to make it first rate. The location is on a busy street, but you do not notice the noise once inside. The staff is wonderful and we had a beautiful view of the church and music hall from our room. The staff was polite and helpful although they speak Romanian with a local accent. The restaurant is also good, serving both Romanian and international dishes and the breakfast buffet was quite wide-ranged.   As a business woman, I am travelling a lot across many countries, but in this hotel I really felt like being in Paradise! I was amazed by the variety and richness of the breakfast. The SPA Center was also available 24h, and the receptionists were all very polite, professional and friendly. Unlike some hotels we were able toleave the air-con on all day (handy in the hot summer). Long-ish walk totown (30-45 mins), which I didn't mind and in any case taxis in Cluj arecheap.
