Location very central. Waffles/pancakes at 3pm, great idea. Staff friendly and helpful Deal included evening meal A well maintained and modern hotel.

Room was very hot. Noise from outside. No Gym facilities No safe in room No tea making facilities in room Extra pillow required in room

The setting and the location. The possibility of having tea /coffee all day long. The attention to detail

Very nice hotel in all respects

very noisy utside the hotel on the Saturday night, impossible to have the windows opened

Stylish and comfortable suite with harbour view. Very good breakfast and dinner buffet. Nice and helpfull staff.

Petrol smell in the lifts (may be because of the parking garage below?)

The superb location. The re-designed dining area. The provision of an evening meal, even though of limited choice.

That, having chosen to book at the higher of the two offered prices, it appeared that all rooms were identical! The uncomfy plastic bedroom chair. The outlandish design of various items in the bedroom. The scale of the breakfast, which compared very unfavourably with nearby hotels. The lack of beverage-making kit in the room. The absence of the former communal viewing and coffee lounge on Floor 3 (?)

Staff are very friendly. Free breakfast & dinner. Location is excellent

There are some noise from either the near by night clubs (pops) and the loud noise from arrival/departure of cruse ships

The location, warmth and friendliness of the staff, and the modern renovations. It all adds up to a lovely stay and good value for the money.

Everything is very expensive in Norway, including the rates here. I can stay in better accommodations in Manhattan for less than I pay here - but that is the reality in Norway. Given that, this is the nicest hotel in Stavanger by far.

Not sure if recent remodelling was worth the effort, it was perfectly fine before.

We have stayed a few times and like staying on the harbour. Staff are very friendly and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Good area for walking to the countryside and some beautiful lakes The food was good and the chef and staff went out of their way to be friendly. Reception staff were very courteous and friendly..

It is a pity that the coffee lounge on the fourth floor is being made in to bedroom. We used to enjoy the view from the coffee bar over the harbour.

Location was great. Breakfast was good.

Nothing was ever said when booking about the fact that the hotel was undergoing a massive renovation. Access was difficult both by car and on foot. The room, while spacious, was OLD and TIRED. The whole place lacked charm and design sensibility and felt cold and institutional. There was renovation debris and materials stacked everywhere. Requested 330a wake up call on day of departure never came. Food served for the included evening meal was NASTY.
