reception was very pleasent and friendly. -
The proximity to the shore/shops/ferry/Waitangi museum/eateries etc. but far enough away from main traffic noise.

We found the Ash Grove cabin we had to be the best accommodation we had on our visit to the Northern part of the North Island. Welcomed with fresh muffins from really nice hosts. Our cottage was right next door to hosts house yet it was private, clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great place for our break away weekend. Easy access to a variety of attractions, Paihia,Kerikeri etc.

Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities were very good. We had a ground floor sea view, which wasn't strictly a sea view as most of the time, cars were parked directly across from the room as there was parking for the beach. The beach was literally across the street, though so it was still a good spot. Restaurants, the wharf and the centre is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation, so pretty good location.

Good Location if you have a car, a bit far to walk to the town centre but was fantastic having a pool and trampoline for our son to play on and the spa was lovely. had a lovely relaxing time here.facilites were great ie the suite stayed in was immaculate,luxurious and everything u need for a nice weekend break.
