  The staff were welcoming, the room was small but comfortable (the beds were comfortable), warm and nicely appointed, the breakfast was excellent and parking was free. While a little out of town, it only took us about 10 mins to walk to the centre of Middleburg. Overall this hotel was excellent value for money.   Burgh Haamstede is located at 1.5 hours driving from Amstedam. I selected Ter Duin hotel because is placed in country side, in a lovely quiet place, melange of land and water, where you can breath fresh air, walk in the forest or on the beach. The pool, sauna and gym are located all together. Was nice to be there. Bre - balcony!!, room, bathroom, bed, bar, breakfast, historic building, convenient for bus transportation to nearby towns, the lovely small towns, beautiful beaches.. Room was great! and it was a wonderful vacation in Dutch small beautiful towns!
