Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

We stayed 2 nights at the Crown B&B. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station and surprisingly close to all of the sights. I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. The room was tactfully and pleasantly decorated as well as the kitchen/dining area, which was very spacious and modern. The bathroom in our room was HUGE and fancy. Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. The Old Lady is a restored terrace on the canal in Amsterdam. We rented the apartment which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The building is very well located only minutes from the railway station and right on one of the canals. Most of the city's attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are very cooperative and an excellent breakfast was provided.
