  The location was fantastic - loved the windows overlooking the street! Lots to watch - even though the street is noisy, this unit is on the 3rd floor with the bedroom in back and very quiet. - This is a small 5 stars level hotel. It is luxury to stay there.   Отличный отель, отдыхали в нем компанией 9 человек. Номера правда некоторые сразу поменяли, потому как предложили сначала очень тесные. Уборка каждый день, белье меняли раза два за неделю, завтраки не плохие (яйца, сыры, колбасы, булочки всякие, чай кофе, сок и т.д.). I liked the fact the hotel has a lift - I have stayed in small hotels in the past and have to climb lots of narrow, steep steps which is difficult with bags. The location of Kalkmarkt is very good next to a canal and only a short walk to restaurants, the City Center and Central railway station. The owners Veronika and Peter are very helpful and friendly and good communication when we made booking and with any queries we had. It s just about 10mins walking distance to the Amsterdam Central station which you can go everywhere from this station. And the house is very home feel with a kitchen. City people likes me enjoy a lot in this kind of town house. Besides, couple can enjoy simple cooking if you have been tired to eat outside during a long vacation. The flat is simple and clean as well. Absolutely recommended!

Very friendly Asian staff. Basic breakfast but good 8am-10am. Wifi excellent in rooms.
