Luggage check room was available to store my luggage since I arrived early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !
