  We liked the friendliness of the staff and the location. Also, eventhough the rooms are small (so are WC and shower), it was clean and and we felt comfortable for 3 nights.   Hotel Pax is a cute, clean place to stay for a few nights, and the location is absolutely superb. It's right on a major street between Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Lots to see and do, all within walking distance. From Central Station, it was only 2 short tram stops, then a 4 minute walk at most.   Kooyk Hotel was beautiful, realy perfect place for holidays,absolutly clean, very good breakfast, big beautiful room with wiev from window to canal (Gracht), comfortable bed and location can not be better - directly in the middle of the nicest and oldest part of Amsterdam.It was so romantic:-) We will come back to Amsterdam next year and of course ... что говорят » we want to stay only in this Hotel! - Amazing location - about 3 mins wak from Leidseplein.
