I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival.

The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam!
The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day.

In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! -
Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10

I thought Hotel Ajax was a fantastic place to stay, Always had clean towels and sheets + toilet was cleaned regular within the 5 days i stayed here. Staff were extremely friendly...... Luggage check room was available to store my luggage since I arrived early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.
