The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful! The daily breakfast they served was delicious. The hotel is very close to several restaurants, as well as a tram line and the museums. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The employees of the coffeeshop below the hotel were kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay immensely. everything! especially the staff...these guys are just great!! (especially the left handed one (he will recognised himself), the garden...все обзоры »
The friendly staff and excellent location (close to major museums). The staff is great.Everything from the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the bed, the hotel location in relation to transit and restaurants was all terrific!. Hotel couldn't be better really - room was actually the mostcomfortable for a two star that I have stayed in in Amsterdam. Willdefinately go back.only three flights of stairs from bar to bed. 15 minutes from airport by bus, in the heart of centre, near restaurants, shops and museums, friendly staff. The manager, John, was super. The rooms were clean and this hotel was in a great location. Perfect Location for all the Tourist Spots.hotel stuff were great!. Location. I liked the small size and friendly, helpful staff. Staff was friendly; atmosphere was pleasant. Position, friendly staff. Rooms were clean; comfy beds; nice view of garden from our room; staff was friendly and let us leave our bags there after check out since we had a late flight that night; nice hot shower with great pressure.Close to anything you would need. Coffee shop downstairs, smart shop next door, groceries two doors down, bar across the street. Who could ask for more?. Superb location, a lot of restourants, coffeshops, clubs, nice Leidesplane square, very friendly staff.Localization and price. Roolies staff is great. Location. The staff were very accommodating. Location was excellent. Had a room in the back and the view of the "courtyard" was nice. Bathroom was oversized for this type of accommodation. This hotel was good value and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Good coffeeshop downstairs. Reasonably quiet. Pleasant terrace at rear of hotel. the room was clean, good location close to square, trams etc.The outdoor terrace: great for having breakfast. The location was great.Staff, atmosphere. can't tell. The location and fact you could smoke :-). The staff and the location. Location, location, location. Plus a very friendly staff (very nice people indeed, John is a great guy and helped us a lot!), beautiful terrace outside, fair accomodations and breakfast for the cost, and one of the best coffees conveniently downstairs. I appreciated the personalized service and welcoming attitude that was extended to me. Although the location to a very busy nightlife area was only two blocks away, the hotel was quiet and peaceful.good for 1 night on a layover. noisy and very small. priced right. I would recommend it for a layover but not for an extended stay. Close to everything.Friendly staff. location. location. Sometimes some loudness from people on the street could be heard from our room at night, but it was nothing overwhelming and if I'd brought earplugs (helps me sleep better), I wouldn't have noticed. But there was nothing to dislike about the hotel itself. I walk with a cane and the stairs were difficult but not impossible. Not the fault of the hotel (or coffeeshop) but noise outside was badfrom nearby clubs. If in the front take good earplugs (I didn't) and itwill be fine. internet wi-fi didn't work at night and there is no staff (reception) after 5 pm. It is still a bit pricey for what it is, but that is by U.S. standards and thinking in dollars. In fact, there were no other hotels that I found at this price with an en suite room. So, by European standards I suppose the price was OK. Noise outside on the Saturday Night.Mosquitoes from garden below. No computer available to check email. I like everything. Staircase very steep and narrow, could be dangerous for some people.Breakfest was the same every day....When you stay for longer than one day, it is not so good. the bathfroom had a problem in the shower and after of the complaint the problem was not resolved.Shower curtain needed to be replaced - it could not be cleaned. Showerhead was difficult to use. Wished their was room for seating in the room. We had good memories of Leidesplein area from a while back but it seems more commercial than it used to be. We like the hotel, but would return to hotels nearer central station next visit. Purely personal preference.i read the reviews about the stairs and they were steap but all the houses in amsterdam are like this, the room was quite small for me as im 6ft 2" but was good value for money. no elevator. Slightly noisy in early hours. rooms facing the street get noisy at night when drunk clubbers are leaving, not a problem if you have earplugs or if you're more a night hawk than an early bird. but prefer rooms facing the backyard and the terrace.very difficult to use the stairs to the 3rd floor. almost fell a number of times. the heating system was not switched on even it was a december night.room very small(very expensive),very stiff staircase.
