  Wonderfull Riad at the quieter border the medina with very lovely and helpfull staff. We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights so much! The Riad was a real arabian Palace and we felt like some Sultans or Scheichs :) We will come back definitly! We have seen some other Riads at fes but nothing was so amazing like that. The hotel was very quiet and with a terrace with nice views of the ancient medina. Located in the medina but a little far away from the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate.

  Ryad 53 has a great location close to the Batha museum in the Medina! The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and the work staff is really friendly!   We booked the cheapest room in this beautifully restored traditional riad, but as there were few other guests we were given instead a larger more luxurious room. It was gorgeous! I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.
