The staff were absolutely brilliant, polite, helpful, gracious, kind. Room was awesome with the most spectacular views of the ocean, and had one of the most comfortable beds in Asia. I was allowed an extremely late checkout and the manager himself offered to drive me to the airport. Well done you guys :))) best service in Asia.

the only downside really, is having to wait for a shuttle, once an hour, to berjaya Resort or into the village. I found so much valuble time is wasted trying to time the shuttle, and if you miss it...its another hour wait...in the end, I just grabbed my Camera and walked. But this in NO WAY detracts from the wonderful staff and the fab accomodation.

Nice clean hotel with two bed rooms and kitchen. Excellent sea view from the room. Staffs are friendly and cooperative. Hotel has private clean sandy beach.

There is no food shop near the hotel. However, hotel provides hourly fee bus service to main gate where food shops are available.

None worth mentioning...

1) The bus shuttle service is very poor, ie. insufficient buses to accommodate the huge crowd during peak hours of the day. 2) The water in the swimming pool is quite dirty & has lots of debris lying on the bed of the pool. 3) The TV in all the rooms only have 1 channel & the vision + sound is terrible.

The Price!!! :-) From my understanding, every room has a sea view, mine was fantastic. This place was simple but functional… A Great deal.

Berjaya resort (the adjacent property) won’t allow you to rent a scooter to access the Selesa Tioman (you have cross the former’s property to access the latter’s). The fix… I rented a bicycle. ;-) Another issue that I found only slightly inconvenient, was the fact that Selesa Tioman doesn’t have a restaurant. This in my opinion wasn’t a big deal.

Location was FABULOUS!!...FOR ME...If you like a bit of seclusion. We were staying on the far end of the larger Berajaya 5 star resort / golf course - 10 mins walk to beautiful secluded beach - with NO crowds. a further 30 mins walk or 20 min swim across to an island with great snorkelling. Great Pool. Loevely grounds.

House keeping were hopeless - No proper cleaning going on even when asked. Rooms in need of renovation - but, we were not there for the rooms - just the beaches.

The price of the stay, the view from the room, the friendly staff, clean pool, free wi-fi, free shuttle-bus.

Very long waiting time for food, even with simple orders like breakfast or burgers. Only one key given per apartment, even though we stayed 3 guys in the apartment. The hotel is a bit isolated, so you are dependent on the shuttle bus, which leaves on 12 midnight the latest.

All rooms have beautiful sea view. Very suitable for family stay.

No restaurant in the hotel and nearby.

This is a fantastic hotel, incredible experience when we lived in the hotel, very comfortable and convenient, very friendly stuff, especially the boys in reception really helpful. Free shuttle bus. The manager with glasses is so nice. I lived in Room g9536, the view is wonderful! My son loved the swimming pool so much. This hotel will be your first choice for Tioman island.

My family like to stay there verrry much. Very clean and staff very helpfull.

Food - very hard to get food. have to wait shuttle service to go out. Better Selesa Tioman operate restaurant to cater the customers.

good and friendly staff. the buss drivers for the shuttle buss vas very punctial and droppt you of whereever you wanted on the berjaya grounds. the beach was great and had super snorkling. we where almost always alone on the beach.

The member is nice and the house is clean. In perjaya beach.

Need by shuttle bus if want to go to the beach and eat food.

Loved the secluded spot, very tranquil surroundings. The price was very good value for money. The kids loved the pool and the various facilities. The Family Suites were clean and well-maintained, the shuttle was frequent. And did I mention the wonderful surroundings?

The restaurants are a shuttle ride away. It's a short ride, but it would be awesome of you could eat on the Condotel grounds itself. Of course, we had a kitchen and heating facilities, so we could have eaten in the Suite... Apart from this, we consider the Condotel very kid-friendly and us parents enjoyed the quiet evenings on the balcony, sipping our long drinks whilst the kids were knocked out from exhaustion.

Loved the location and style. Roomy apt and good staff

Transport not reliable Could do with just a single burner stove. Microwave cooking not easy. Needs a path cleared directly from the hotel to the beach in front. The reef there is very beautiful

the apartment is nice and well maintained

difficult to access to the nearest restaurant, no meal provided at the hotel/limited, no facility for bar-bq, shuttle provided it every hour and too long to wait once you missed or fully occupied

but you can not pay by credit card 'terminal out of order' a little bit strange.... bathroom, and shower was dirty....

The price is affordable as we get a two room apartment..so plenty of space for my children

No cafe available and we need to depend to the shuttle service to go anywhere

Great cheap middle market hotel, aircon, pool was nice, nice views from balcony, clean but dated rooms, but still ok if you spend most of your time on the beach. Tioman is a must for those who love crystal clear waters, and amazing snorkling. Very relaxing, not many people on the island. Do not go here if you want big shopping centres etc, its a very relaxing, underdeveloped island.

Perfect place if what you need is quiet and relaxed holiday. Facilities are modest but guests can use Berjaya Tioman Resort facilities FOC.

Hotel is quite far from gate (it is located inside Berjaya Resorts). Shuttle service is available every hour so you have to time your outings.

Location is good..

but rooms are not clean. Strong timber odor. Lizards are everywhere. Not enough light on the way to lobby and pool

No food there need to take bus to find the food . Monkeys always enter there , if you never lock the door , got the problem . Toiletery and towels worse cleanlines . vehicle also need to wait so long .

quiet surrounding close to nature. good for family if there are activities or outlets available. staff are friendly

lack of activities, 10 minutes walking distance to beach area (quite a distance esp for young children) and should provide transport to tekek village instead of transit to berjaya resort guard post only.
