I loved the location of hotel, maybe not outside area but it was handy to buses and all areas when walking. The Hotel was beautiful only 9 rooms and staff very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs and Nasi Lemak was out of this world! -

This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu

The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying.
The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it.

My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. It's well kept. Huge bed, nice view, very clean. Parking is easy and free. Wifi works very well. Was given a free upgrade to Premium room from the usual Deluxe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You feel like in 5 star hotel, altough the price was only like 3 star hotel. Room was nice and big. We asked if we could check out a bit later and they said it was ok, this was a really nice thing to us! There was many nice places to eat near the hotel. - the location is conveniant
