Led by Nardya and Roberto, the entire staff of the hotel is providing excellent services and are very hospitable. They are happy to recommend the local eateries in the area which is very nice of them. Nonetheless I would recommend to taste the pizza in their restaurant Il Bacaro which is great.

Beautiful heritage house right in the heart of Georgetown, an easy walk (in blistering heat!) to most of the key places to visit.
The owners and staff were exceedingly friendly and professional, and the room was very comfortable.
The house has been beautifully restored, with as much attention to detail in the common areas as the bedrooms.
The huge, tasty breakfast was also a bonus!

Great location - it was a few blocks away from Gurney drive. Palaquinn
is also in the area of very good food! Such as the Pulau Tikus market,

The heritage house is very pretty, décoration inside is tasteful and original. Location is not in the historical centre but a 10min bus ride leads there easily, safely and cheaply until late at night. More over, staff is super friendly, super helpful and super sweet.

My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. It's well kept. Huge bed, nice view, very clean. Parking is easy and free. Wifi works very well. Was given a free upgrade to Premium room from the usual Deluxe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You feel like in 5 star hotel, altough the price was only like 3 star hotel. Room was nice and big. Very relaxed and easy all over, friendly and helpfull personnel. Room was clean and functional. - Good sized room even though it was only a "studio". Nice view. Staff were polite, well presented and welcoming.

I was very grateful for the excellent English ability of the staff. I was overjoyed with the ease and simplicity of getting a tourist visa for Thailand. Every staff member was very friendly. - The stuff was very helpful and friendly, I would stay there again if I return. The rooms are big and comfortable and I recommend this hotel.

The location is good, excellent foodstalls just 50 meters away - so you don't need the breakfast which is included in some room prices. "cottage rooms" nice and cozy - free WiFi only in the building's centre, not at the far end. Some rooms right near the pool which you might like or not. -
