My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. we enjoy the spa swimming pool, my 2 year-old son enjoyed it very much, and the breakfast is delicious ( even though the roti canai is not as good as INDIAN made..haha) - I like the location bayview hotel.....very near to penang town...and i enjoy the hotel food n morning breakfast.....The rate hotel very vert cheap others hotel....

It's a beautifully restored set of old houses, the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful, there are special touches like the 4pm cup of tea and kuih (local cake) by the poolside.
