The hotel is just off main walking alley Calle dei Fabbri some 4 minutes north from San Marco. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. The owner met us at Rialto and took us to the apartment (which would otherwise be difficult to find). She was very helpful and friendly and advised on food shopping and restaurants. The apartment was charming and comfortable and had sufficient facilities.
The price was excellent for an apartment in such a superb location.

Staff is excellent, always ready to please and help. Michelle speaks perfect English. Location is perfect. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.

It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

We stayed at the Three Bedroom Apartment San Marco, fantastic location. Only about 150 metres up a walk way from Rialto Water Bus Stop, which is also a stop for the airport boat. A short 5 min walk into San Marco Square. Close to supermarket and nice little coffee shops. Very large apartment with lots of room for us - 2 adults and 3 kids. Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

Although this was not close to the train station and it is quite expensive to travel on the water taxi to get to the hotel, it was in a great location close to Piazza San Marco and the lovely quiet area and gardens of St. Elena. We stayed at the Venice h+h for 5 nights and it was perfect! We decided
to spend an extra 100 or so euros to get an apartment instead of a hotel
room and we saved a few hundred euros catering for ourselves instead of

Location was excellent - close to St Marks, Rialto and the water bus
stops at San Zaccarina. 5 mins walk from Coop supermarket and many
restaurants and take aways. The apartment was very nice and spacious
with two rooms and reasonably well renovated. Everything in venice
looks worn down from the outside but once inside, the apt was very
nice. Donatella and Elise were excellent hostesses and responded very
priomptly to all questions and queries. Definitely recommended. Btw

What a wonderful place! Behind the door was hidden a beautiful courtyard which led to a cery smart reception with incredibly friendly, helpful staff. the apartment was great - lovely decor, matble bathrooms. Kept worrying they were going to add a zero to our bill at check out but they didn't (out of season) - incredible value for money. And the location was perfect for the Biennale - took a boat straight there from the airport. Feels like a non- touristy area. Will definitely be returning.
