  We enjoyed our stay in Palazzo Vitturi. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. The hotel is positioned very conveniently at an equal distance from San Marco and Rialto. We had a late arrival but the staff was very friendly and helpfull and we did not have any problems.   Easy to find, Staff was very helpful and aided us getting to the room, which was located in a separate building. Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes! Great location close to St. Mark's square and other attractions. All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted - lots of choice and hot and cold options.

Good location, near to San Basilio vaporetto stop, convenient for attractions in the Dorsoduro area. A few caffes and osteria nearby but not far to walk to find whatever you need.   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby.
