  Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

Breakfast was delivered to our room without extra charge, which was heaven ! The hotel is in a brilliant location just off St Marks Square and is very quiet. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff were absolutely brilliant! If every going back to Venice, I would only stay at Locanda Al Leon!

  We loved everything about Ca' Gottardi. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Fabio was a delight, and Luke must be the most friendly and positive Italian guy we have met on our trip :) The room we had was one with a view (ask for second building) and required walking up some stairs, but we did not mind!
