This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it!
We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!)
We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"

Everytime we left the room, we came back and the bed wasmade, and there were chocolates on our pillows, the breakfast waswonderful and the eggs tasted amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I give thishotel a 15!!

the location was brilliant. got on the grand canel and the water taxi stopped right at the hotel front door. staff and room was all very nice. breakfast was the best we had during our two weeks in Italy.

Our room (205) was fantastic, it this was on the recently modernisedside of the hotel and was a superior double. The room was very spacious,and the bed was huge, and comfy. Also I found the staff polite and professional again making you feel you where in safe hands. - Have stayed a number of times at the Splendid Suisse and would do so again and recommend it to friends. Very well situated with rooms well styled although a bit small. The dining room was excellent and staff most helpful. Beautiful since being renovated especially dining room and bar areas. Bathrobes suppllied lovely touch but would be nice if bottle of water was left in room.

Love the breakfast with wonderful selection. The room is double room is beautiful. The bathroom is very modern. The other room we booked is a family suite. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. It was very hot during our visit and staying indoors (in the hotel) was an easy itinerary.
