  We enjoyed our stay in Palazzo Vitturi. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. The hotel is positioned very conveniently at an equal distance from San Marco and Rialto. We had a late arrival but the staff was very friendly and helpfull and we did not have any problems. Our room had a real baroque feeling which delighted my 16 year old daughter. The location was outstanding. Our room overlooked a canal and watching the gondoliers passing was an added bonus. It is 5 minutes from st Marks Square so it was so easy to see the amazing sites there but was also very peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved sitting on the little boat landing with my book and drink after a day sightseeing.

  We recently stayed at Hotel Al Piave in the 2 bedroom family suite. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised (2 rooms and a bathroom). Prior to choosing Hotel Al Piave, I had read the negative customer ratings just to see what the worst case scenario could end being, along with how the hotel management responded. The only negative comment could have be - We had a family suite for four, ideal for us with two adult children on the trip with us. Great location for exploring Venice. Easy to get to other areas on foot. Friendly, comfortable & clean family run hotel. Lovely breakfast & rooms serviced daily with clean towels & toiletries. Staff helpful with lots of advice, maps provided & guidance for getting around & where to go.
