It is a very good relation of price and quality. the accomodation was the cheapest i could find anywhere in center of Venice for end august, beginning of september and yet it was quite good quality.
The room was o.k., i had single room. I could choose from a few shared bathrooms (with shower), that were clean and always was one of them at least empty. of course there was water on all floor after shower so it wasnt good to use this bathroom then, but you could go and find another bathroom and le. все обзоры »
I heartily recommend this hostel for one reason. I made a dumb move there the first night and left my wallet in the washroom with 200€ inside. Some minutes later I realized this and thought I was surely in trouble. I opened the door to my room and about to knock was a staff member who said someone had returned the wallet. All the money was still there.
I don't recommend leaving wallets around. However, at a more run-down or wild hostel you could not expect such an outcome. So the fact that the.
Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They supplied a portable
fan free of charge when we mentioned the heat at night. Shared bathrooms
were as clean as they could be. Easy point to access from Santa Lucia
train station and Piazzale Roma, at which the buses from and to Marco
Polo Airport stop.
I booked a single room for 40 euros. Excellent location, friendly staff, very clean. Good value for money. Make sure you have planned out your route ahead of time as it can be tricky to find. Was easy to find with iphone map. This is a nice very quiet hostel.
Helpful service, authentic character, friendly, an awesome vintage
elevator, more kitchen facilities than I expected from reviews, and
shutter windows that when opened flooded our whole room with
glorious sunshine.
Clean, cheap for VCE high season, 1 hour internet for free, luggage storage free of charge, common kitchen with all necessary to have your own breakfast. 10 munuts walk from bus station, 20-30 from Rialto.
Excellent location and price, and we were offered to take a shower 5 hours after checkout, when we picked up our luggage. It's really fantastic feature after a hot day in the city. Very friendly staff.
Handy location for railway/bus/water bus services.
Rooms are basic but comfortable, nice restaurants nearby, kitchen & computer downstairs,tv in lounge, overall good budget accomadation.
Very satified with the employee, a nice place to live. and there is a kitchen and a balcony at the top of the building. The hostel is very safe, and owns the whole building.
Excellent value.
Great location near Piazzale Roma and station.
Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Let me leave my rucksack for the day after I'd checked out.
Excellent, no issues, it's very well located, near to the piazzale roma and venezia santa lucia, room for 1 at a cheap price with a shared bathroom but still clean.
The staff was very friendly and the location is really great. We also appreciated the small kitchen there. Everything was nice and clean.
Staff, prices and location!
Thanks too much to this hostal, cause our trip wasn,t so amazing without it!
We love you from Russia!).
Loved everything about the actual hostel...very friendly staff with extrvalidation emely clean facilities. Excellent value!.
- The staff was really nice and helpfull, thanks.
- The double-room is big enough for two people.
- The terrace is great.
Good location.
Very cheap.
Very very friendly and helpful staff.
Good Wi-Fi.
Wonderful city, fairy tale stuff.
Its very good for the value of money. Its in a prime location, closer to train, bus and waterbus stations.
Great and very helpful faculty! Comfy beds and nice rooms. Clean facilities and fantastic location!.
The location was perfect. The room was comfortable. The staff were helpful.
Location. Friendly staff, ability to leave bags at reception post check out.
Very friendly staff, good value for the money, excellent location!.
location is very good. Staff superb friendly and helpful.
Its really quite. Near the train station, and down town.
Staff were very friendly.Location great.
The location by far is the best.
yes, near the centre.
- location
- staff.
The receptionists are very friendly. The location is great, near both train station and bus station. I stayed there for 2 days and although the bathrooms were shared, they were kept clean. The lounge room is quite comfortable to take a rest.
The hotel has a good student discount. It is possible to use kitchen equipment etc to cook own food. Location is good for coming back and from Venice. Nice view from the upper floors. There is an elevator, which is handful for bags.
The place as a whole is very nice. The old style of the building was very authentic, and we loved the elevator! The kitchen and common rooms were very comfortable.
Excellent location, the rooms were clean, and for a good price. Although it was a shared bathroom, the bedroom had a sink, which was very helpful.
The price and location are perfect. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, especially the night staff.
It was really close to Piazza de Roma, but there were loads of little shops and things nearby too.
The location was great and there was a student discount, so it was the best price in Venice.
It was in a good location. And the staff was nice. It's ok if you are on a budget.
the position, just near the train station. and we can put the baggage there.
It was very practical, central and clean. Beds and linens were comfy.
Leaving we booked 2 nights and stayed 1 and left.
-Location (Closed to central station).
discount for students. nice staff.
Close to the station.
they did not allow you to come after 12.30 in the evening meaning no one will come to the room and drunk.
Helpful staff, very central location at walking distance from Santa Lucia station.
- the staff was very friendly and helpfull
- good location.
Cheap place to stay, but you get what you paid for.
Price and location is good.
nothing so important. goood place.
My bed was too soft, yet my friend's was ok. One must use some anti-
mosquito spray for it's impossible to sleep without the windows
wide open.
- VERY HOT, no fan in room made it difficult to sleep.
- Can't leave the hostel after midnight and before 7am. Makes it tricky if you want to get up early to run.
Shared bathroom and WC on the floor, but it is normal for hostels. Only one ac/dc plug in the room. Building is cloused from 12:30 pm till 7:00 am.
they don'e accept plastic cards, and WiFi is 15 USD/hour, it's ridiculous.
no air conditioning but they did let me borrow a fan for my room.
Great difficulty finding it. (It would have been a lot easier if I'd started at Piazzale Roma instead of San Marco!)The street and house-numbering system in Venice is like nowhere else I've been. So a more specific map would have been very helpful.
Mosquitos :).
Its close after 24-00!.
Difficult to locate.
beware of pickpockets on the boats.
Lots of sound from outside, No fan or AC, we hardly had a sleep due to these things.
The luggage storage area wasn't secure.
It is what it says it is....a hostel. For the price though, you wont get much better.
door lock is noisy and more toilet and shower room available will be more convenient.
The map to find the hostel sucks; and doesn't have 14 hrs reception.
1230 am curfew didnt impact on me as I was not out late but it is a big restriction.
the only give 1 hour of free internet.
- noisy from inside and outside
- no breakfest
- inaccurate address is very confusing especially in city like Venice, its on San Rocco square, San Polo is only district of town.
It just offers the basic thing. It's very hot in Venice but there's no fan or air-conditioner in the room.
No AC. A bit noisy when opening windows, which can be a problem for sleeping at night.
The beds in our room were of the basic spring type and made a lot of noise. The kitchen was basic. It didn't have a stove or hot plate, so we couldn't cook. The curfew of 12:30am to 7:00am is also quite inconvenient.
It was very bare, they didn't even do the beds when you moved in, they just gave you the sheets. The shared bathroom was clean but super bare, and with water everywhere (thankfully, just water).
The hostel is really only for young people who don't need sleep and want to party. It was impossible to fall asleep because of all the noise. Although the hostel is nice, I did end up moving hotels to get some sleep and move away from all the partying kids.
Nowhere secure to store belongings in the rooms or when checking out and leaving bags.
No breakfast, old furniture, no air conditioner or ventilator, so the room was hot and there were some mosquitos. The bathrooms were very small and quite dirty. You can't leave the hostel from 12p.m. to 7a.m. because it's closed..
It was clean but the bathrooms could have been cleaner. There's no air conditioning or fans. The room was a bit small.
a little noisy. and there is many mosquitos in the room.
The fact that they lock you up in the hostel from 12:30 a.m. till 7:00 am. So I had to chase back to the hostel at night.
The church bell ringing at 8 am,the beds, 20 mins wifi, seperate
showers, probly a bit my fault as I thought it was a hotel room but it
was a backpackers, but your in venice spend the money and stay in a
nice place.
-Large and smelly at the ceiling in the room
-Cannot check out before 7 am
-Only 1 hr of free internet.
No air conditioner, so hot!! cannot sleep.
A little bit old.
Hotel closed from 00-30 to 7 -00. if you are late, you will be sleeping under the door!!!!!.
i do not drink but i would like to stay later from 12.30 and it gets really hot in summer.
Worst bed I have ever slept on. Wi-fi only free for 1 hour. Didn't have a luggage store room, instead there is a lounge where anyone can walk in which wasn't very reassuring. I am shocked this place is listed on letsbookhotel.com.
- the beds are terrible!!! so uncomfortable and super basic
- noisy
- expensive for what it offers
- no breakfast included
- closes during night, so you can't go in or out.
But bathroom and toeilet are dirty. .
Room and furniture very old.
But price is cheap to stay in venice.
There was no TV in the rooms. The room is very poor and simple. Also no wifi.
