Highly recommended. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Only 15 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. We had a spacious room overlooking the piazza. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Sorrento. No lifts, so you better practice lifting your suitcases up a few flight of stairs. I didn't mind because

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise. Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. Very nice hotel, a kilometer from the circumvesuviana train station. Near from the town centre, good views of the mountains from the room. Very friendly staff, supermarkets, restaurants nearby. They help with tours, maps etc. Will stay here again. Access to the roof for drying laundry as it has clothes lines, pins etc. You can have breakfast in their garden. Very calm and quiet area.
